Some great things about NOTL:
- The wineries - in particular, Inniskillin (http://www.inniskillin.com/) and Jackson-Triggs (http://www.jacksontriggswinery.com/)
- The fudge shops and European bakeries
- The horse-drawn carriage rides around the historic village
Another good thing that I can't attest to: The Shaw Festival...we've never gone but many make the trip with the festival as their destination. www.shawfest.com
But...bring a lot of money! The cost of lunch and shopping can be expensive (at lunch, Mark's beer cost $8!), and a good t-shirt will run you at least $20-$25. The cost is made worse by the weak American dollar (or the strong Canadian dollar) - as of 5/26/07 the exchange was only .04 on a the American dollar.
Ayez l'amusement (Have fun)!
